2026 Fall Network Meeting

Fall meetings are typically where we share new resources that have been developed across the year, provide updates on various projects happening across the Network and showcase exciting work happening in our community. During this event, we will be showcasing the following:

  • Network and community accomplishments in 2026
  • What is on the horizon for the remainder of this year and early 2027: including our updates to our Network strategic plan, empathy for wildlife curriculum, 2027 Empathy Summit, and more!
  • A presentation from Dr. Alison Bowers (Stanford University) and Wilson Sherman (Ph.D student, UCLA) who will share the findings from the literature review they just finished writing for the ACE for Wildlife Network regarding the relationship between feeling empathy for people and empathy for animals.
